Sex Therapy
Sex therapy is therapy. Full stop.

It's talk therapy, with the focus pointed squarely at the parts of us that tend to feel the most tender, private, and easy to misunderstand: sexuality, relationships, pleasure, identity. Single or partnered, queer or straight, kinky or vanilla, monogamous, non-monogamous, or still sorting it out — your sexual self still matters to your health as a whole.
Sex can be one of the most profound ways we connect, with another person, and with ourselves. And even if you're asexual, or sex simply isn't a priority in your life, the way you relate to sexuality still leaves fingerprints everywhere. It touches how you understand yourself, where your boundaries sit, how you feel in your body, and how close you can let someone get. If the word "sex" makes you want to back away — and if it does? You might be in exactly the right place.

Sex therapy is a place to get curious. It's where we can take apart the stories, rules, and shame you might have picked up along the way, then look at what feels real for you now. With that perspective, we can find new angles on your identity, your healing, and your relationships — and do it in a way that stays on your terms.
What We Acually Work On
People come in for all kinds of reasons, and there isn't a category of "too small" or "too weird." If it's affecting you, it's worth bringing. Some of the most common themes include:
-
Desire that doesn't match between you and a partner, or desire that's faded without a clear reason
-
Pain or discomfort during sex that no one has been able to make sense of
-
Difficulty with arousal or orgasm, alone or with someone else
-
Shame, guilt, or inherited beliefs about sex you never agreed to, but still carry
-
Sex that used to feel natural, and now feels distant, complicated, or like work
-
Performance anxiety, or feeling pressure to "do it right" instead of being present
-
Sorting out who you are sexually — orientation, kinks, relationship structure, boundaries
-
Finding your way back to intimacy after trauma, illness, body changes, or major life shifts
If you looked at that list and thought, "honestly, most of it," you're not alone. We can slow it down and take it piece by piece.

Who I work with
This practice is designed to include the people many sex therapy spaces unintentionally overlook. I work with:
-
LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples
-
People in non-monogamous or polyamorous relationships
-
Kinky folks who want a therapist who won't flinch
-
People who have never talked about sex out loud before
-
Anyone figuring out sexuality after trauma, body change, or a major life transition
Wherever you're starting from, you don't need the perfect language. We'll find the words together.
Investment & Logistics
Sessions are $175 for 50 minutes. I'm private-pay, so I don't bill insurance directly, but I can provide a monthly superbill for you to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Sessions are available in-person in Austin, TX, or virtually anywhere in Texas.
